Scarves make quick and easy gifts that everyone will enjoy! This scarf uses a simple but interesting pattern stitch. It crochets quickly, and the pattern is easy to remember. Both sides look the same.

5 shells and 5 rows = 4″
Stitch Explanation:
Shell = 2 tc, ch 1, 2 tc in same st
Instructions:
Ch 26.
Row 1: Shell in 5th ch from hook, *skip 4 chains, shell in next ch; rep from * across, ending tc in last ch. Ch 4, turn.
Row 2: Shell in each ch-1 space of each shell across, ending tc in top of t-ch. Ch 4, turn.
Rep Row 2 until desired length, and fasten off.
Add fringe in lengths and frequency as desired.
Finishing:
With a tapestry needle, weave in ends near edge on WS.

Ch-1 sp: Chain 1 space
Rep: Repeat
T-ch: Turning chain
Tc: Triple crochet
